Challenges
Leadership Development
In 2019, about 60% of Africa’s population was under the age of 25, making it the youngest continent in the world. Most of these youth are not given meaningful chances to explore their human potential. Our mission at U.Educate Africa is to motivate, teach and train youth to become prolific in African leadership as well as African innovation.
Women Empowerment
Many African women face disproportionate challenges ranging from sexual exploitation to illiteracy and lack of economic empowerment. U.Educate Africa’s mission is to invest in business training, literacy training, leadership training, and enable market/funding access for women entrepreneurs in order to accelerate the empowerment of women on the continent.
Technology Innovation
Our mission is to provide Africa’s growing healthcare markets with best practices and technologies that will leverage the existing potential of healthcare systems and reduce the number of preventable deaths.
our Activities
Unleash Innovation Lab
This is a virtual space where participating youth collaborate year-round to solve problems within the African community, generate new ideas, create new and/or existing processes, services, and products.
Impact Leadership Program
ILP is a unique leadership-focused educational model designed specifically for youth living in local African communities. Through this model, we focus on developing strong, impactful, and inspiring leaders who will use their knowledge and experience to make positive and lasting impacts in their hometowns. The project will operate in 4-week cycles and will be cohort-based.
Virtual Workshops and Learning Camps
We create curriculum and organize workshops with different themes during which youth are invited to participate. We also create learning packages that are delivered during virtual or in-person camps.
Community Outreach Activities
We will organize community outreach programs for various demographics within the local communities. The programs vary depending on the need within a community and the goal is to educate, support, and for charitable donations. Through these programs, we model the “meet-them-where-they-are” philosophy.
